Asian equities traded mixed on Wednesday.

China’s Shanghai Composite gained 0.63 percent or 12.58 points at 2,020.89.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was flat at 23,049.44.

Japan’s Nikkei was flat at 15,799.58.

Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,132.86.

South Korea’s Seoul Composite was down 0.13 percent or 2.51 points at 1,961.38.

Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted rose 0.15 percent or 12.54 points at 8,612.44
